When looking through the outcome of the breeding shows which have been held this year it is enjoyable to ponder over what groups of offspring are doing best concerning assessment....
The offspring of Arður frá Brautarholti are doing best when it comes to talent, a total of eleven of the offspring presented had the average score of 8.10 for talent. The offspring of Víðir frá Prestsbakka, which are a total of seven horses, received an average score of 8.09 for talent. Also the 17 offspring of Þokki frá Kýrholti, who have been presented at horse breeding shows this year, were receiving an average score of 8.03 for talent.
The offspring of Gári frá Auðsholtshjáleigu have been receiving the highest scores for conformation, and of the 21 offspring which were presented this year they have been receiving an average score of 8.28 for conformation. The seven offspring from Víðir frá Prestsbakka score with the second best average score or 8.14 and the 22 offspring of Dynur frá Hvammi and the 11 offspring of Andvari frá Ey received an average score of 8.12 for conformation.
For the fun of it we would like to mention that the offspring of Krákur frá Blesastöðum 1A received the highest average score for tölt – 8.68 and the offspring of Stáli frá Kjarri have the highest average score for pace – 7.96. A total of 17 offspring from Krákur were presented this year and 14 offspring from Stáli.
It should be kept in mind that this is only a calculation from the average score of the horses which have been presented this year and therefore this is not a comprehensive picture of the offspring from the above mentioned horses.
