Yesterday there was held a grand Ice tölt tournament in Frederikshavn in Denmark. Many powerful horses and riders participated in the tournament.
Jóhann Skúlason and the young Tígull frá Kleiva won the tournament with a final score of 8.44, but just behind him was Trine Risvang and Leiknir frá Søtofte with a final score of 8. 33. Nils-Christian Larsen received the bronze price riding Hrynjandi fra Fagereng and received a score of 7.78 and Tina Kirkaas was in fourth place riding the stallion Þokki frá Kýrholti. Thomas Larsen and Skáti frá Skáney were in fifth place after having won the B-finals and Mari Soot Kristiansen was in sixth place riding Losti frá Strandarhjáleigu.
The stallion Feykir frá Háholti, who competed on behalf of Iceland in the class of 5 year old stallions in the World Championship, was on the ice under the control of Rasmus Møller Jensen and they were in 8th place and competed in the B-finals.
